One of the strongest pillars of IGF is its customer orientation wherein the focus is completely on the end consumer – the farmer.

In IGF, we have a host of activities planned round the year to capture the customer’s voice. Large number of farmer meetings and chaupals are conducted wherein we impart technical know-how to the farmers and keep them abreast with the latest farming techniques. We have pioneered the concept of Six Sigma demonstrations in farming wherein a activity calendar is prepared and farming is done accordingly, to give higher yields to the farmers.

A large number of trials are conducted every year to showcase latest products and technology and make the farmer adapt them. Not only this, through its networks of SKSKs, IGF provides free soil testing facility to the farmers. A recent initiative by the company is creation of farmer database wherein IGF has captured the details of more than 1,50,000 farmers and is in regular touch with them through sms. To close the feedback loop, IGF has a dedicated toll-free number for farmers to call and get information as well as register their complaints.
